Gro-Coat®
This seed treatment is a pellet application for most vegetable seed that germinate in average conditions such as California Coastal climates. Pelleting process that can be customized for a range of requirements in terms of density and size. Gro-Coat® is an industry-leading way to deliver conventional pelleting requirements.
Gro-Coat® Air Maxx
Gro Coat® AirMaxx is Seed Dynamic’s seed encrustment product. It has been formulated to have a smooth, relatively dustless outside surface to enhance vacuum planter performance in the field as well as vacuum drum planters commonly used in protected crop culture.
Prep-Coat® Air Maxx
Prep Coat® Air Maxx is our seed encrustment product in combination with seed priming. Priming the seed is often necessary when environmental and cultural conditions at planting pose the risk of inducing seed dormancy during the germination phase of crop production. Air Maxx has been formulated to have a smooth relatively dustless outside surface to enhance vacuum planter performance in the field as well as vacuum drum planters commonly used in protected crop culture.
Pre-Prep®
Pre-Prep® process does not add a pellet to the seed. This treatment is ideal for instances when exacting seed placement and plant spacing are a primary concerns.
Prep-Coat®
In this process, the seed is primed and pelleted. The result is a pelleted seed that helps prevent thermal dormancy. The resulting pelleted, primed seeds:
- Are uniform in size
- Are relatively dustless, which is easier on planting equipment
- Split readily when exposed to moisture. These seeds break apart into two equal pieces, which allows air to reach the seed immediately. This is important because seeds respire, they require both moisture and oxygen.
Prep-Coat® is our coating over seed which has already been primed.
Prep-Coat Special®
Prep-Coat Special® is designed especially for lettuce seed varieties, such as green leaf and red leaf, that are extremely heat and light sensitive. This product uses our processes of pelleting and priming with an added step to address the unique issues that lettuce has heat and extreme light sensitivity.
Pulse® Gro-Coat®
Pulse® Gro-Coat® offers organic pellet applications for seeds that germinate in average conditions. Pelleted seeds are easier to handle and much easier to plant at uniform distances. Read more.
Pulse® Prep-Coat®
Pulse® Prep-Coat® is Pulse® Gro-Coat® on primed seed. Priming the seeds helps prevent thermal dormancy to give organic the chance for great stands without being so temperature sensitive. Read more.
FarMore® Technology Pak
Syngenta's FarMore Technology Pak works as a first line of defense against a range of pests. The compounds control soil-borne, seed-borne, and airborne diseases that attack a young plant, including fungi, insects, . Farmore works with our current processes including encrusting, pelleting, priming and film coating. Read more.
